The PrintFlow3D Kit includes all components needed to build a fully mechanical plate changer for the Bambu Lab A1. All parts are pre-manufactured, pre-aligned, and ready for final assembly – no 3D printing, no soldering, and no firmware modifications required. You receive the complete system in ready-to-assemble form. Final installation takes less than 20 minutes.

The PrintFlow3D system integrates seamlessly into your Bambu Studio workflow using our STL-based setup tool. It operates without electronics or sensors and is fully compatible with the A1's AMS system.

How It Works & What’s Included

  • The PlateChanger uses a fully mechanical swapping process triggered by the print file itself. After a print finishes, a mechanical motion pushes the finished plate out and automatically loads a fresh one into place—no electronics, sensors, or motors involved. You prepare your print job using the PrintFlow3D Setup Tool. It inserts the required movement directly into your STL file, which can then be sliced as usual in Bambu Studio. This process enables up to 11 prints in a row, completely unattended—perfect for overnight jobs or continuous production.

Compatibility & Technical Details

  • The PlateChanger is exclusively compatible with the Bambu Lab A1. It does not work with the A1 Mini, P1, or X1 series. The system is mechanically tailored to the A1’s dimensions and motion system for precise and reliable performance.

  • The PlateChanger is a fully mechanical system—it requires no power, no sensors, and no firmware changes. All motion is controlled via custom print paths embedded in the STL using the PrintFlow3D Setup Tool. Only official PrintFlow3D print plates are compatible. These plates feature custom edge geometry and cannot be replaced with standard Bambu Lab plates.
